Biography

Mike Lambert played volleyball for the USA at the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games. Lambert played in college at Stanford, helping them win the 1997 NCAA title. After the Sydney Olympics, Lambert became a prominent beach player. He competed mostly on the AVP Tour, winning 16 titles, earning the AVP MVP in 2004, when he was also named AVP Offensive Player of the Year. In 2004 he played much of the season alongside Karch Kiraly. Between 2004-07 he was the only AVP player to win multiple titles each year.
