Biography

Halfback Sebastian Ploner was a member of the Austrian water polo team at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. They finished sixth eventually after placing second in the classification round 5-8. Ploner’s only international medal came at the 1931 European Championships, when Austria took bronze. Domestically, he played with Schwarz-Rot Wien (Vienna).
