Forward Peter Riedl was a member of the Austrian water polo team at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The team finished sixth eventually after placing second in the classification round 5-8. Riedl’s only international medal came at the 1931 European Championships, when Austria took bronze. Domestically, he played with 1. WASC Wien (Vienna).
