Troy Barnhart played in college at U Cal Berkeley and also played for the Olympic Club (San Francisco). He was twice an All-American at Cal and later played professionally for one year in Italy. In addition to his 1996 Olympic appearance, Barnhart played for the USA at the 1994 World Championships, the 1994 Goodwill Games, and the 1995 World Cup. He became an elementary school teacher at Lemoore Naval Air Station in Kings County, California.
