For John Parker, a graduated of both Stanford and Harvard (MBA), the München Games were his second Olympics, having previously played on the U.S. team that placed fifth at the 1968 Games. He also won a gold medal at the 1971 Pan American Games. After finishing his studies, Parker established his own investment banking firm.
