Jay Arnette was a 6-2 (1.88) guard from the University of Texas who graduated in 1963. He took his gold medal to the NBA where he played for two full seasons, and three games of a third, with the Cincinnati Royals. Between seasons of professional basketball, Arnette attended dental school at his alma mater. He eventually became licensed in both dentistry and as a pharmacist but later practiced as a successful orthodontist.
