Orlando “Orly” Bauzon was a Filipino basketball player and coach whose career spanned more than 30 years. Bauzon began his playing career in the 1960s, first playing for the UST Growling Tigers basketball team whilst studying at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. He played for several other domestic teams, including stints at the Meralco Reddy Kilowatts and the Toyota Comets, before finishing his career with the Honda Wildcats in 1978.
In 1967 Bauzon was part of the Philippines’ squad that won the Asian Basketball Confederation Championship in Seoul, South Korea, winning all nine of their games in the round-robin tournament. The following year he competed at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics, playing in nine matches and scoring 31 points. He continued to represent the national team for more than a decade, including at the 1970 Asian Games in Bangkok. Following his retirement Bauzon had a lengthy career as a coach throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
