Walter Good competed in middleweight weightlifting at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. His brother, Bill competed as a light-heavy at the 1932 and 1936 Olympics. Walter competed for the York Oil Burner Athletic Club. He was second at the AAU Meet in 1935-36, and finished fourth in 1933-34 and 1937. Good was a factory worker.
