Albert Manger lifted in the heavyweight class at the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics. Manger represented the Baltimore YMCA. He was AAU Champion as a light-heavyweight in 1929 and won US titles as a heavyweight in 1930 and 1932. Manger was a member of the AAU Weightlifting Committee starting in 1926.
