Bill March had the following podium finishes at major championships: 3rd in the 1962 World Championships Middle-Heavyweight class (460.0 kg); 1st in the 1963 Pan American Games Middle-Heavyweight class (460.0 kg). He set one middle-heavyweight press world record. He was a five-time US National Champion in middle-heavyweight, consecutively from 1961-65. March lived much of his life near York, Pennsylvania where he worked for Consolidated Freight and then for Apple Chevrolet for 30 years.
