Biography
Richard Tomita was a featherweight weightlifter at the 1948 London Olympics. He represented the Nu’uanu YMCA on O’ahu, Hawai’i. Tomita was AAU Champion at 132 lbs. (60 kg) in 1948 and 1952. He worked as a truck driver at Aloha Petroleum Co.
