Biography

In the featherweight division of the Olympic Greco-Roman tournament, Carl Chr. Hansen lost his first two bouts by fall, the second one against eventual Olympic champion Kaarlo Koskelo. One year before, he competed in one of the unofficial World Championships but remained unseeded. In 1913, he won his only national championship, again in the featherweight class. His last recorded result was a second place at the Championships of København in 1919. He married in 1909 and had at least 3 sons and 6 daughters.
