Biography

Frederik Hansen had the following finishes at major championships – 1911 Unofficial World Championship: 70.0 kg. Greco-Roman (3rd); 1909 Unofficial European Championship: 67.5 kg. Greco-Roman (3rd). At the 1912 Olympics, he competed in the lightweight class, where he advanced to round 5. Here, he lost to Hungarian Ödön Radvány and was eliminated.

Domestically, he represented the capital’s club IF Sparta taking three consecutive national titles 1911-1913 in the lightweight.
