Biography
Basketball player Uwe Brauer represented West Germany at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, finishing eighth. Domestically, he played with TuS Bayer 04 Leverkusen, helping them to win the national title in 1985 and 1986, and the German cup in 1986 and 1987. From 1987-89 and in the 1990/91 season, he played with Goldstar Hagen.
