Biography

Knut Lindberg was in his prime in the first decade of the 20th century. In 1902, he placed second in the open category at the Finnish Championships, third in the heavy division in 1903, 1904, and 1906. In 1907, he finally claimed a title in the 85 kg category. Although he failed to place in the following years, he competed in the 1912 Olympics in middleweight B, where he was eliminated by Anders Ahlgren, the eventual finalist.
