Edward Babcock competed in featherweight freestyle wrestling at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics, losing in the second round. Babcock represented the Chicago Central YMCA. We know little about his life, and some newspaper reports list the athlete in 1904 as John C. Babcock, but Edward has been shown to be correct by an obituary.
