Cordell Barrow, who was also a decent track athlete, sailed with his brother Rawle in the Flying Dutchman. He won a fourth place in the 1963 Pan American Games, and placed 20th at the 1964 Tokyo Games. He retired that same year, moving to the United States, where he worked as an accounting supervisor and, later, school bus driver.
