Brother of Princess Pilar de Borbón, president of the Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) 1994-2006. His wife was a substitute on the 1960 Greek sailing team as (then) Princess Sophia of Greece and Denmark. Later King Juan Carlos I of Spain.
