Stein Føyen was a Norwegian sailor who competed at two Olympic Games. At the 1964 Tokyo Games Føyen sailed in the 5.5 metres race with Eirik Johannessen and Kronprins Harald, who would later become King Harald V, with the crew finishing in eighth place. Four years later the same crew competed in the same event at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics where they finished in 11th place. Outside of sport Føyen worked as a lawyer and founded his own law practice in 1969, working in the sector for the rest of his life.
