Biography
Heinz Laprell and Wolf Stadler sailed with the West German Tempest boat (a two-person keelboat) at the 1972 München Olympics. The events were held in Kiel and the boat placed 11th. Both sailed with Yachtclub am Tegernsee and had won the Kieler Woche some weeks earlier. Laprell later became a physician, and specialized as a ship’s doctor.
