Sailor Peter Rebien placed eighth in the Dragon class, together with Hans Ravenborg and Günther Benecke on the yacht Dinah V at the 1960 Roma Olympics. The same year the crew also won the famous Kieler Woche and the Vasco da Gama Cup. Rebien was a member of the Lübecker Yacht-Club.
