Stan Renehan sailed for the Essex Yacht Club in Essex, Connecticut. He competed in the 1956 Olympics in the Sharpie class with Eric Olsen. Renehan was a business executive who first was President of Sounder Sports in Ivoryton, Connecticut. He later moved to Pratt Read & Company in Ivoryton, which then specialized in the manufacture of piano keys and piano action mechanisms, and Renehan became President of that company before retiring.
