Kim Weber was a Finnish engineer and sailor. Weber graduated from the University of Technology and began work with IBM where he was responsible for the launch of their computers in Finland. For a few years, Weber worked for IBM in München, Germany. As a sailor, Weber won a bronze medal at the Nordic Championships in 1969. Three years later, Weber represented Finland at the 1972 München Olympics, finishing in sixth place in the Finn event. Weber was named Sailor of the Year in 1969 and 1972 by Finnish sports journalists. Weber also took part in the Whitbread Round the World Race and later served as a board member of the Finnish Sailing Federation.
