Biography

Eric Zucker was born and raised in St. Thomas on the US Virgin Islands, but he attended prep school at St. Mark’s School in Southboro, Massachusetts from 1977-81, and then went to Columbia University, graduating in 1985. While in college at Columbia, Zucker competed in 470 Class Sailing at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, alongside Trace Tervo.

Settling back in his native Virgin Islands, Zucker became a prominent photographer and videographer. He was primarily a photographer from 1986-90, working with Club Med and AT&T, but also beginning to film commercials. From 1990-99 he worked for Virgin Islands tourism, promoting the islands by use of film and photography, but also had numerous private clients. Zucker later started Z-ArtHouse, his own company that runs Tell-Tale Pictures, a St. John-based production studio.
