While in college at Columbia, Zucker competed in 470 Class Sailing at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, alongside Trace Tervo.
Settling back in his native Virgin Islands, Zucker became a prominent photographer and videographer. He was primarily a photographer from 1986-90, working with Club Med and AT&T, but also beginning to film commercials. From 1990-99 he worked for Virgin Islands tourism, promoting the islands by use of film and photography, but also had numerous private clients. Zucker later started Z-ArtHouse, his own company that runs Tell-Tale Pictures, a St. John-based production studio.
