Biography

Long-distance runner Franz Tuschek competed in the 1934 European Championships but did not finish the marathon. He was Austrian 25 km champion in 1926-27, 1929, and 1931-1934, marathon champion in 1926-27 and 1929-1935, and cross-country champion in 1926. At the 1936 Berlin Olympics he placed 14th in the marathon.

Personal Best: Mar – 2-36:55 (1933).
