Rose Van Crumbrugge had a fairly brief athletics career in the mid-to-late 1920s as a member of Olympic Fémina-Club de Saint-Gilles. She was one of four club members selected to compete for their country at the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam. There, she ran on the 4 × 100 metres relay team which finished fourth in its heat in the preliminary round and did not advance to the final.
