Biography

Kiril Petrunov was a Bulgarian track and field athlete who competed at the 1924 Paris Olympics. Petrunov ran in the 400 metres where he finished in last place in his heat. He competed in both the triple jump and the long jump, finishing 18th and 26th, respectively. Petrunov also had the honour of being the flagbearer for Bulgaria at the Opening Ceremony at the Paris Games. He later had a brief career as a footballer, playing in a handful of matches for Levski Sofia.

Personal Bests: 400 – 56.0 (1925); LJ – 6.49 (1924); TJ – 12.98 (1925).
