Rodolfo Wagner was a Chilean track and field athlete who specialised as a sprinter. At the 1927 South American Championships in Athletics Wagner won silver in both the 100 and 200 metres. His performances earned him a place on Chile’s Olympic team for the 1928 Amsterdam Games where he ran in the 100 metres. He was also scheduled to run in the 200 metres and the 4 x 100 metres relay but did not start in either.
