Milán Matos was a Cuban long jumper who competed at the 1972 and 1976 Olympic Games. Matos also finished fourth in the long jump at the 1975 Pan American Games. After his competitive career he became known as the top Cuban jumping coach. Matos was selected among the best coaches in the country on several occasions.
