Suzanne Laurencin was active in the local tennis scene of Antwerpen (Antwerp) in her teens, playing under her maiden name, Suzanne Good. The daughter of a businessman, she married Jean Laurencin in 1918 and was a nurse at a war hospital in De Panne during the First World War. Following the war, she continued to remain active in tennis and played in the doubles tournament at the 1920 Olympics held in her home city. She played alongside clubmate Marie Jones but they lost the only match contested in the first round.
Laurencin continued to play tennis until at least the mid-1920s, also competing domestically in doubles alongside her sister Marguerite, who became Mrs. Robert Grisar in 1914. Also an active and successful golfer, Laurencin was a longtime member of the Royal Antwerp Golf Club and competed in competitions until the 1950s. One of her sons, Fréderic, became a successful civil engineer.
