Enrique de Chávarri was a Spanish sportsman who represented Atlético de Madrid. Chávarri ran in the 100 metres and the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics but did not advance from the heats in either race. He was also part of the Spanish hockey team at the Amsterdam Games, scoring a goal against Germany in the preliminary round of the tournament. His brother Bernabé and his cousin José were also members of Spain’s hockey team in Amsterdam. Chávarri worked for the Spanish government as a civil servant and attended an economic conference in Japan in 1941.
