Nilton Pacheco played for Brazil at the 1948 Olympics, and also represented Brazil at three World Championships, 1941, 1945, and 1947, helping Brazil win the title in 1945 and earning a silver medal in 1947. Capped 20 times for Brazil, he scored 97 points in his games for the national team. Pacheco started out with the Baiano Tennis Club team and then moved to Fluminense, where he spent the rest of his career.
