Biography

French track sprinter Jeannine Moussier had a very brief athletics career, which saw her represent ASU Lyon in the late 1940s. In 1948 Moussier became the national champion in the 100 metres, earning herself a place on the Olympic team. At the London Games she ran in the same event where she narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals. She was also part of the quartet that ran in the 4 × 100 metres relay. Moussier only competed at one other international meet for France. when she ran in the 100 metres and the relay at a competition in Amsterdam a month before the Olympics.

Personal Best: 100 – 12.2 (1948).
