Julio Pereyra played for Bohemios, helping them win the Uruguayan title in 1981, 1983, 1984, and 1987. He competed for the national team at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Pereyra became a coach, leading several clubs, including his old squad, Bohemios, but he was also head coach of Atenas, Ateneo de Piriapolis, Marne, Sayago, Verdirrojo, and Goes.
