Biography

Georges Rolot was a French sprinter. At French Championships he placed second three times (1910 in the 400 m, 1912 and 1913 in the 200 m) but never won a title. At the 1912 Olympics he competed in the 100 m, 200 m, and 400 m and in the 4x100 metres relay but only advanced to the second round in the 200 m.

Rolot became a physician and served in World War I as a military surgeon. He was heavily wounded early in the war. In 1917, he was appointed a Knight of the Legion of Honour.
