Biography

Harry Whittle finished fifth in the 1950 British Empire Games 440 yards hurdles as well as in the 1950 British Empire Games long jump. In the 1950 British Empire Games triple jump he finished tenth and in the 1950 British Empire Games 440 yards he was eliminated in the heats. In the British Empire Games he competed for England. He was captain of the British athletics team at the Helsinki Olympic Games.

Personal Bests: 400H – 52.4y (1953); LJ – 7.25 (1947).
