Halit Deringör was a non-playing member of the Turkish football team at the 1948 Olympics. He was capped five times during his career, and played on the Turkish national team from 1947-50. Deringör played for Fenerbahçe in Turkey from 1942-52. He later became a sportswriter and wrote for Cumhuriyet for 20 years, also becoming a technical director for Fenerbahçe in 1964.
