Biography
German middle-distance runner Sylvia Kühnemund was eliminated in the 1,500 metres semi-finals at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. She was German Champion over 1,500 indoor in 1995-2000, and outdoor 1996-97. In 2001, she married her coach Wolfgang Thier.
Personal Best: 1500 – 4:05.96 (1998).
