Native Ivory Coast German hurdler Claude Edorh reached the second round of the 110 metres hurdles at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics but was then eliminated. In 1994 he finished an unfortunate fourth at the European Championships.
At the German Nationals, Edorh won three silvers and three bronzes. He was seen as one of the biggest German talents since the famous Martin Lauer, but was often put out of action due to injury.
