Biography

Miriam D’Agostini was a Brazilian tennis player. On the ITF Women’s Circuit, she won eight singles titles and 15 doubles titles.

As a youth player, D’Agostini was ranked fourth in the world and number one in Brazil. D’Agostini was a professional from 1991 to 2001, earning a career-best world ranking of 188 in July 2000. D’Agostini and Vanessa Menga competed in the doubles tournament at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. The pair were eliminated in the first round. D’Agostini competed at the 1995 and 1999 Pan American Games, winning a bronze medal in 1995.

D’Agostini retired from playing tennis in 2001. In 2010, she worked in marketing for the Brazilian Olympic Committee.
