Vanessa Menga was a Brazilian tennis player who played professionally from 1995 to 2003. Menga achieved a career-best singles ranking of #163 in the world in February 1999, and a doubles ranking of #93 in the world in June 1999.
Menga specialised as a doubles player, winning her first of 33 ITF titles in May 1993 in Spain with her Australian partner Melissa Beadman. She partnered a multitude of players from all over the world including Luciana Tella, Miriam D’Agostini, Andrea Vieira, Paula Cabezas, Alicia Ortuño, and Melisa Arévalo. She also won three ITF singles titles, the first in 1997, and the other two in 1998.
Menga competed in the doubles at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and the 2000 Sydney Olympics, partnering with Miriam D’Agostini and Joana Cortez, respectively. Menga and Cortez partnered each other at the 1999 Pan American Games with the pair winning the gold medal in the doubles.
