Biography

Christos Vrettos was a Greek track and field athlete who represented Ethnikos GS in Athina. Vrettos competed in the shot put at the 1924 Paris Olympics where he finished 14th with a best effort of 13.125 metres. He was also scheduled to compete in the discus throw but did not start the event. Vrettos had the honour of being the flagbearer for Greece at the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Games.
