Biography

Between 1916-29, Tibor Püspöki competed for MAC, mainly in hurdles and long jump. He participated in the 110 hurdles at the 1924 Paris Olympics and in the long jump at the Amsterdam Games four years later. He won the national hurdles title three times (1925-27), and was long jump champion on one occasion. In 1926 Püspöki broke the national long jump record twice, with leaps of 7.18m and 7.21m. Between 1925-28 he competed for the national team on five occasions.

Personal Bests: 110H – 15.8 (1926); LJ – 7.28 (1926).
