Ronald Vernieux finished sixth in the 1934 British Empire Games 4×110 yards relay (with Gyan Bhalla and the non-Olympians Jehangir Khan and Niranjan Singh). In the 1934 British Empire Games 100 yards as well as in the 220 yards Vernieux was eliminated in the heats.
