Barbara Lah was an Italian athlete. She is considered, together with Antonella Capriotti, as the first Italian specialist in the women’s triple jump. Lah competed at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, finishing 16th in qualifying. Her biggest international moment came in winning a bronze medal at the 1995 Universiade. She also placed third at the 2000 European Cup. Lah also competed three times each at the World Championships and the European Championships.
Lah was capped 25 times for Italy from 1995-2003. Domestically, she won five outdoor Italian triple jump titles (1994-96, 1999, 2003) and six indoors (1994-96, 1998-2000). She later graduated in veterinary medicine from the University of Udine, and left sport in 2013, although she still participated in masters competitions.
