Keiji Ogushi was a 400 metre hurdler who competed in that event at three Olympic Games – in 1956, 1960, and 1964. He also ran the 4x400 metre relay in 1956 and the 4x100 in 1960. He was a four-time medalist at the Asian Games, winning golds in the 1958 4x400 relay and the 1962 400 hurdles. Ogushi added a silver medal in the 1958 400 hurdles, and a bronze in the 1962 4x400.
