Guillermo Chirichigno was a Peruvian track and field athlete who specialised in the pole vault. Chirichigno won gold in the event at the 1935 South American Championships in Athletics in Santiago, Chile. His win earned him a spot at the 1936 Berlin Olympics; however, his performance was disappointing, with him sharing last place with a best clearance of 3.50 metres. Three years later he won silver at the inaugural edition of the Bolivarian Games in Bogotá, Colombia.
