Biography
Claude Russell-Brown was a Captain in the Canadian military between 1904 and 1908. He made the quarter-finals of the men’s singles at the 1908 London Olympics, although, due to a bye and a walkover, he won only one match. Brown played Wimbledon in 1904, losing in the first round. He had a long career, if one without distinction. He competed at the South of France Championships and the Monte Carlo Tournament, and is also recorded as competing in 1931 at the Queens Club Tournament.
