Feliks Żuber took up athletics when he was at school and competed in sprint races. Żuber was one of the best sprinters in Poland at the time, which earned him selection for the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics. At the Amsterdam Games he ran in the 400 metres but was eliminated in the heats. The same year he became the Polish champion in the 4 x 100 metres relay. He ended his competitive career in 1930 and became the head of the athletics section of the Warszawianka sports club. When World War II broke out Żuber joined the Polish underground movement but was arrested in March 1940. He was later tortured and shot in a mass execution in Palmiry, near Warszawa, as part of Operation AB-Aktion.
