Francis Knox Irvine was a South African sprinter from Johannesburg. Irvine ran in the 100, 200, and 400 metres at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics. He was eliminated in the heats of all three races with his best performance coming in the 200 metres where he finished just behind the Dutch athlete Cor Wezepoel.
